A Walk Around Buttermere

Name of walk A Walk Around Buttermere
Date of walk 2007-02-04

Another nice day so we went to Buttermere for a walk around the lake. When we left Walney it was shrouded in fog. Windermere and Thirlmere were also very foggy. Thankfully the Buttermere Valley was in perfect visibility!

walking back to the village.

By half past two the fog and mist started to come down so we drove up past Crummock water and Lowes Water and went home via Cleater and the Corney Fell road.
It`s just under 5 miles round the lake and very easy walking.
