Today Janet, Poppy and I decided to do the Greenburn round. Nine miles and seven summits. Looking back down Wetherlam Edge just before we got to the climbing bit where it got steep and you had to guess the way and scramble up rocks. Luckily Poppy had a nose for the right way! People below us on the path.
Coniston Water. We had lunch on the far side of Wetherlam`s summit. Even Poppy had her own marmite sandwich! Quite a few people about and it was cold and windy so we didn`t stop for long.
Good view over to Crinkle Crags and Bowfell. Red Tarn in the middle. Pike O` Blisco on the right.
