32

It is a bit of a trudge off Shipman Knotts and quite steep and awkward in places. I was glad to be back on the bridle path. View from Stile End back to the first part of the Horseshoe.

When I reached the road I made for Maggs Howe cafe, another minor detour but I needed a drink as I had run out. It was up Low Lane and well sign posted. You can also park there all day for £2 which was good to know. I had a glass of water and two cups of coffee before setting off in the direction of the church where I had parked my car.
The walk had taken 7 hours. I got back home in time for the second half of the Spain/Switzerland match! A good day!
