|Name of walk||Latterbarrow and Around|
|Date of walk||2012-10-25|
On Tuesday the weather was cloudy but very warm so Ged and I decided to walk up Latterbarrow.
From our car parking space just past the turn off for Loanthwaite Lane, it is only a ten minute walk to get to the summit and the good views.
Looking down on Windermere.
Low cloud on many of the surrounding fells.
We walked down the otherside of Latterbarrow and made for the lakeshore via High Wray, the water was very still.
We then took the path along the lakeshore.
Autumn foliage at the Belle Grange turn off for Hawkshead off right.
Proof that Kas actually has a front end!
The path would take us all the way back over to Hawkshead through the top section of Claife Heights.
It is an excellent walk in the woods at this time of year.
The path also takes you through the plantation.
...and past Lily Tarn.
View across Hawkshead to Pike O' Blisco and Crinkle Crags in mist.
Looking down on Hawkshead.
From my car parking space on the side of the road looking over at the Fairfield Horseshoe.
We drove back down the east side of Esthwaite Water.
