On Saturday afternoon Brendan and I headed for High Nibthwaite parking in the lay-by outside Water Park.

From the red telephone box you head through the gate and take a sharp right up towards Brock Barrow. Looking back down the grassy path through the bracken.

We head for Arnsbarrow Hill summit on the far right via High Light Haw centre, Top o' Selside on the left in the distance.

We zig zagged across pathless and wet Stang Moss to Arnsbarrow Hill and then back again picking up the lower path to Top o' Selside ahead on the right.

A walk of about four and a half miles which took us three hours and twenty minutes. A good little afternoon walk making the most of some good weather!
