|Name of walk||Walney Promenade Walk|
|Date of walk||2020-04-06|
A walk back from Jubilee Bridge and along Walney Promenade to North Scale in blue skies and sunshine.
View north to North Scale and a hazy Blackcombe from Jubilee Bridge.
St James' Church on the left.
The channel in North Scale Village.
Bulbs on my patio.
Finally found some tulip bulbs that can withstand Walney winds!
Lockdown was a good time to paint all the garden ornaments, none of which I bought myself! All bar the fireman were presents from relatives.
Ta Da! Looking bit better.
The statue was in my late father's garden. He was a fireman for 30 years, and it was the only statue I took back home. So typical of his sense of humour!
Tigger snoozing in the summerhouse.
An evening walk down to the channel. Looking towards Jubilee Bridge.
St James' at sunset looking across the footbridge.
Final rays of sunlight.
The walk from home to near the Crows Nest pub and back, took one hour.
