It was a nice day so we decided on a walk to Askam Pier, it is only a short stroll from Askam Beach car park.

From the car park I nip down to the beach and take a photo north, towards Dunnerholme Rock. I then return to the car park and take the path along the back of the houses and through the dunes, as there is no access via the beach.

We can now go down to the beach and head for the pier.

The tide is coming in and the channels are filling with water.

We take the steps up to Askam Pier. View down the pier.

We head back to the car park.

Always a good walk on a clear day. We took about an hour and a half.
