Name of walk | Bellringers' walk to North Walney |
Date of walk | 2021-08-29 |
On Sunday the bellringers from St. James the Great, Barrow in Furness met up in the North Scale car park to walk the new coastal footpath. We would not go all the way to the north end today, but take the path through the fields to the tarns. A walk of about six miles. The weather started brightly.

The walk took us three hours and ten minutes, with lots of stops to take photos. Always good to meet up for a ‘Meandyring’! This time without the ringing bit!
Thanks to Andy, Sue and Jason for the use of their photos.
Jo.
