Today Ged, Kas and me went to Mill Side at Witherslack to climb up to Whitbarrow Scar for the walk to Lord’s Seat. A walk of about five miles. We parked on the roadside at Mill Side. Not much of a view today, a lot of low cloud. The walk is on page 36 of the Wainwright Outlying Fells Book.

View out to the A590 from the top of the Whitbarrowescarpment. Not much in the way of views today.

Ged at the first of the cairns.

Heading back to Mill Side.
A good little walk for a spare three hours.
