It was a nice day so I headed to Blawith to climb up to Beacon Fell. I parked in the car park. The mist was down so I headed along the road trying to locate my usual point of entry for the start of the walk, which I did, and headed up through the mist hoping to come out above it.

There was a thermal inversion over Coniston Water, so I didn't take any photos until I was above it.

It was good to be up in the sunshine.

The path is clear, but quite undulating.

Wool Knott on the left will be my first little ascent. Great reflections.

I head back down the same way, the thermal inversion now having gone.

The walk was 4.5 miles and took 3hrs and 30 minutes. Always a good little walk on a nice day.
