Name of walk | Beacon Tarn & Wool Knott |
Date of walk | 2024-01-12 |
After nearly a month of bronchitis over the run up to Christmas and New Year, and missing out on all those blue sky days and snow, I was determined to walk up a little hill. So I coughed and wheezed my way up to Wool Knott which overlooks Beacon Tarn. We parked at Blawith Common. It is a short walk that takes minimal effort but with superb mountain views. The walk took two hours.
