Name of walk Bellringers' walk to Tarn Hows and Black Crag
Date of walk 2026-03-14

Today the Barrow St. James bellringers met at Glen Mary NT car park at 8am, which is on the way to Skelwith Bridge from Coniston, in order to walk up to Tarn Hows via Tom Gill waterfall and then on to Black Crag, returning to the other side of Tarn Hows and back to the car park. There was bell ringing at Ambleside Church in the afternoon. The walk was about 6 miles. Thankfully the weather was excellent.
