Skiddaw in Sunshine

Name of walk Skiddaw in Sunshine
Date of walk 2007-05-01

On Tuesday I took Brendan up Skiddaw (3053ft) and Skiddaw Little Man (2837ft). Another nice day but very windy even at the car park. We took the tourist route up. A large, smooth path that goes all the way up. I left my walking pole on the car bonnet by mistake, not that I actually needed it, but once I realised I`d forgotten it it was too late to go back. Not to worry, it might still be there when we return!

Back at the car park and my walking stick is still on the bonnet. Restores your faith in human nature!

We ambled up and down, it took us under four hours.
