| Name of walk | Walney Walks With Buster |
| Date of walk | 2017-03-24 |
My neighbours Bill and Sandra have recently had to contend with an ankle replacement and a leg fracture between them, so I have become a dog walker to Buster, albeit a fair weather one! The photos are from a few dog walks on Walney Island. Thankfully Buster is a very bright dog, I’m sure he understands everything I say. He is also very obedient and when off the lead walks to heel…..except when I throw his ball. Buster is obsessed with this activity and wants to continue even when he is wheezing and on the verge of cardiac arrest! I have yet to tire him out!
Buster at Earnse Bay.
The dog trails beyond the airfield at Earnse Bay.
Great for ball throwing when the tide is in.
Biggar Bank on a windy day!
Again these paths are excellent for ball throwing.
Walking back to the Round House where I parked.
The duck pond at the start of North Scale Village, one of Buster's favourite haunts.
Walney Promenade.
Great views out to the snowy mountains today.
When we get back to the village we return home via the shore line.
This is new!
A route back to the village.
We head back to the shore until we reach this house where we walk on the path beside the channel.
Last view before we head back to home.
The tide is out at Earnse Bay. Perfect conditions for ball throwing!
Tom takes his turn at ball throwing. Buster never wants to stop!
"Again, Again!"
Lots of dogs enjoying the sands.
Maybe we could hitch a lift back? Buster says no, he wants the ball throwing all the way back too!
End of walk......"Are you gonna throw the ball!"
All good exercise…….for me……as well as Buster!
